Thank you for trusting us with your catch!  These military-grade closed cell polyethylene mats are designed to keep your fish safe from harm, especially from banging off livewell lids and latches in rough water.  Bass Bumpers are a direct replacement for pool noodles and have many advantages:

1) They are sized to cover your livewell opening and prevent fish from jumping out when the lids are open, yet still be removable when culling or weighing in.  You won't have pool noodles rolling around on your back deck or cockpit floor anymore!

2) The hole pattern allows gases to escape, and fresh water with oxygen to enter and aerate.  Pool noodles do not provide this space, and even though your recirculate may be on, it is not spraying directly into the water to help oxygenate it and break-up/remove ammonia.

This material is hydrophobic and no maintenance is required, so place them in your box and go about your day!  This product is for livewells without a divider, where you would prefer ONE large piece to cover the entire livewell.
